Its sweet, ocean flavor and remarkable versatility make it one of the most prized crabs in the world, and we have a whole line of offerings that use blue crab in all sorts of imaginative ways. Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes & More was founded in 1980 by a local Maryland family, as a small mail order business focusing on Crab Cakes and local cuisine. Our top seller, the exclusive Perfect Crab Cakes™, have been a mainstay of our business ever since, even earning a spot on The O List, hand-picked by Oprah Winfrey. Current partners Laura McManus and Kate Glenn have continued the tradition and ethics of a small business since 2009. Both believe employees and customers are part of our extended family, and although we've grown considerably since our humble beginnings, as owner-operators we believe firmly in staying true to our roots.
